God's Fellow-Workers

"For we are laborers together with God".  1 Corinthians 3:9

Covenant Grace Academy was established as a non-profit ministry in 2011 with the goal of providing lake area families with affordable Christian education. Our mission to provide a Christ-centered learning environment, with discipleship as the primary element, has not changed; even more so, our commitment has deepened. We could not do this without the generous support of our CGA families and this community, our fellow laborers. The faithful provision of ‘seeds’ has enabled us to maintain lower tuition costs, thus allowing more families the opportunity to choose Christian education. Additionally, these charitable seeds have supported school improvements and classroom additions.

We each fill a vital role for the kingdom. "For we are laborers together with God - If God works with us, success is sure." - Exposition of Holy Scripture, Alexander Maclaren.

We invite you into a partnership role with CGA as a fellow laborer in the sowing of seeds. Your tax-deductible contribution will assist in the transformation of our communities as our students grow into Christian leaders who are world changers.

A Message from the Head of School

As I write this letter, Covenant Grace Academy (CGA) is well underway in its 14th year!   CGA isn’t just a school.  We are in “Covenant” (hence the name) relationship with our parents and teachers.  We maintain a focus of discipleship to cultivate the minds and nurture the hearts of our students.  We have never backed away from a Christ centered curriculum and we continue to see above average results in our assessments.

The following testament was written by a current CGA family:

“We absolutely love it here at CGA!  This is not a place where they simply talk about having a relationship with God, they make you feel it through their actions, kindness and the love they radiate to all the students….I love bringing my son here every day knowing he’s not only getting a great education but is also growing in his love for and relationship with God.”

I also want to share an excerpt from a letter CGA received, as an example of families we serve:

“My son began attending Covenant Grace Academy in the 5th grade and it changed the course of his life forever. We were extremely frustrated with the school system he was previously in, and he was academically behind. The teachers, staff and other families at CGA welcomed my son and our family in with open arms and went above and beyond to help my son succeed not only in the classroom but also in life.  With this help and supportive motivation, he did very well on his ACT test, made the Dean’s List his first year at Sowela, and he’s currently working on his second year there. It has been truly amazing to watch as we thought he was a child that may not ever go to college at all.  CGA is truly a family that not only exceeds their students’ needs in core academics, but they also teach strong Biblical understanding that gives their students a foundation that they will have for the rest of their lives. My son became the amazing human being that he is today through the teaching and examples of the true love of Christ he received at CGA.”

I too have a deep personal appreciation for what this school stands for and the lives it has touched.  I have graduated three of my own children from CGA and a fourth will graduate this year.  I have witnessed families grow and students put their faith in Christ as their Savior.  Through it all, He is faithful.

We are not funded by the government or any denomination, only by our families and the generosity of donors, like you.   Therefore, on behalf of the Board of Directors and myself, thank you for considering a donation to Covenant Grace Academy.  All donations are tax-deductible and will positively impact our goal to further the mission of Christian education.

May God bless you abundantly,

Events such as the Annual Fall Gumbo Cookoff, Spring Fling, Jambalaya Dinner Sales, and school-wide productions continue to be successful and enjoyable each year.

God Brought Us Here

"We absolutely love it here at CGA! This is not a place where they simply talk about having a relationship with God, they make you feel it through their actions, kindess and the love they radiate to all of the students. CGA has this way of making you feel at peace the moment you walk inside. I love bringing my son here every day knowing he's not only getting a great education but is also growing in his love for and relationship with God. Covenant Grace is a happy place for my son and  I thank God he led us to this school" - Fallon Witherwax
